If you have this knife in your collection, you have alternatives. For example, if all of your knives have sheaths, it may not bother you that the flap does not cover them and protrudes a bit. You might also have the handle protruding. Even with sheaths, I like them to be entirely covered and tidy.

I've been searching for the best knife bag for a while. I tried different style bags; roll and fold. This bag is very well made and used tough materials.

The leather is quality and thick with the simi distressed look. I pictured hollywood star having something like this attached to their horse when traveling the plains.

This knife pouch is fantastic. Everything I need for work fits well in the waxed canvas bag. Although the strap looks to be leather, and I expect that it will need to be replaced after hard wear, it has held up nicely for the last month. I considered various knife bags for months before settling on this one, and I couldn't be happier with the balance of quality and pricing.

Top quality

After purchasing and returning two different knife rolls, I noticed this one on sale for $65. My expectations were exceeded by the craftsmanship and material quality. The stitching is superb, the leather is sturdy, and even the shoulder strap and pad are remarkable. My only complaint is the knife cover's design. It covers or flips from the side, which protects the knives, but if they had two flaps attached top and bottom, it would serve a dual purpose of covering and keeping the objects from falling out. Only friction serves as a retaining strap. When pulling up the bag vertically, my honing rod fell out, therefore you have to cinch the buckles firmly since something tiny and heavy may slip out.

I chose this roll from Aaron Leather Goods after several weeks of study and searching. This is, in my view, the greatest leather knife roll in the $100-$400 price range. The stitching is excellent throughout the structure. The shoulder strap is comfortable and useful. Zippers are high robust and properly positioned. The bag's inside design is likewise carefully thought out. Knife rolls in this price range are often only 10 slots on the bottom. As a result, the bag swells to one side (where the knife handles are) and seems cheap. This bag, on the other hand, has compartments on both the top and bottom, allowing it to fold up nicely when full. The inside pouch is modest yet useful.

The bag is great quality, it is just not as functional as I thought it would be. The knives are not secure and the tend to come out of their Dept. I love everything about this but I truly question the design.

Good leather,strong and looks like it will last forever

I'm a Culinary Arts Instructor. When I was hunting for a new knife roll, I came across this one from Aarons. It arrived in four days and amazed me with how beautifully it was put out and made. It has enough room for everything I need and more. I believe it will endure a very long time.

It's completely flawless. There is far more space than you would ever require. If you have high-quality knives, this is a must-have accessory. The leather is stunning, and while you're wearing it, you'll have the dignified appearance of a chef who knows what he's doing.

This was purchased for my boyfriend's 32nd birthday. He works as a line chef at a fine dining restaurant and previously used a Noble bag. He has 2 or 3 knives that he uses frequently, plus 5-6 more that he likes to keep on hand, as well as plating spoons, a microplane, tongs, and so on. The only thing that wouldn't fit was a bench scraper, which isn't a huge problem. He adores it, and it appears to be of great quality for the price. So far, it appears to be long-lasting, although he's only had it for approximately two months. I would strongly suggest this to anyone working in a commercial kitchen - it is well worth the money!

I really liked the colour and the material!

I really like the new knife bag.. I'm really satisfied with the leather quality and the expertise that went into producing the bag. There is a lot of storage on the inside and it readily holds several sized knives, cleavers, and assorted tiny tools. It also comes with a lovely shoulder strap (which I don't recall seeing in the photographs prior to ordering). If there is one area that may be improved, it is the straps-to-buckles, which appear to be a little lighter weight than the materials used to construct the bag. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the bag and expect to use it for many years to come. I feel it will only improve with age and use.
